MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Finding Your Way Forward

Life gets heavy, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck is more common than people admit. Taylor helps cut through the noise in a grounded, no-nonsense way that actually makes things feel manageable again.

She offers a holistic, evidence-based approach, drawing on proven therapeutic methods and practical tools that work in real life, not just in theory.

The aim? To help you feel more like the person you want to be, understand what’s really going on inside, and regain a sense of control.

And here’s the thing people forget: you’re not meant to do life alone. Struggling doesn’t mean something is wrong with you, it means you haven’t had the right support yet.

If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, stress, chronic health challenges, or injury, and you’re ready for meaningful, lasting change, Taylor can help.

Let’s get you moving forward.

Methods BEHIND THE MAHI

Taylor integrates a range of evidence-based approaches, tailoring each session to the person in front of her. These include:

EMDR therapy: EMDR-trained and accredited, supporting the processing of trauma, anxiety, performance blocks, and more. We get to the root cause, unlearning old patterns and relearning new ones so the past no longer drives the present.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): helping people build psychological flexibility, self-compassion, and values-based action for meaningful change that feels authentic and do-able.

Internal Family Systems (IFS): exploring the different “parts” within us with curiosity and compassion. This process helps people make sense of their internal world, ease inner conflict, and feel more grounded and in control.

Somatic and Body-Based Approaches: using the body’s cues to regulate the nervous system, release stored stress, and reconnect mind and body. These approaches help shift patterns that talking alone can’t reach, creating change that’s felt, not just thought about.

Client Stories

  • “I thought what I went through would impact me for the rest of my life but Taylor helped me feel safe enough to process my trauma instead of just coping with it. I’m no longer hijacked by emotions, and finally feel more in control. The work was deep, but it’s been truly life changing. My past no longer controls my present! It’s a really big relief.”

  • “I used to think mental skills were just about staying positive, but this work went wayyyy deeper. Taylor helped me understand what drives me, how to deal with the stuff that would come up and throw me, as well as how to show up with more purpose which made the hard days feel more do-able… and even weirdly motivating! I honestly can’t recommend her enough.”

    Athlete client, Age 26

  • “Taylor created a space that felt really natural, even through a screen. I’ve been able to unpack some long-standing patterns, make meaningful changes and show up in life in a way that’s more connected with who I want to be. I feel like I can be the better version of myself more often. The impact has been huge, thank you Taylor :)”

    Online client, Age 42

  • "Taylor helped me understand what was really going on, and that I wasn’t broken. I left our sessions feeling understood and like there was a way forward. And been online made it so more accessible as it can be quite limiting trying to find the right fit locally. It never once felt distant. It was genuine and exactly what I needed.”

    Former online client, Age 23

  • “Looking back, working with Taylor was a real turning point. I was stuck in a cycle of anxiety and very low mood and didn’t have much hope that things could get better. These sessions helped me to understand the root cause so I could make sense of my patterns and unlearn things that were holding me back. I still use what I learned and I know my family is grateful for the changes I've made too! Cheers.”

    Former client, Age 56

  • “I initially came to Taylor for support with handling stress under pressure. But what I got was so much more than just coping tools. I developed a deeper understanding of myself, both as an athlete and a person. I’m not only performing better but I feel more grounded and confident all round. Our sessions have helped me show up with more clarity and purpose in sport and in life. I’m incredibly grateful to still have Taylor as part of my support team.”

How do 1:1 Sessions Work?

Your first session will be an initial intake consultation. The purpose of an initial intake consultation is to gain a shared understanding of where you are at and importantly, what you would like to get out of these sessions. I will talk you through my approach and we will decide if it’s a good fit. We will co-create a plan based on your overall needs for therapy or performance.

How often will I attend sessions?

Weekly or fortnightly sessions are typically suggested, and sometimes monthly. Because your plan is unique to you, discussing frequency of sessions will occur during the initial intake consultation. Sessions are for 50 or 80 minutes.

How much does a session cost?

Intake session $220 + gst

50 minutue session $190 + gst

80 minute session $285 + gst

Is there funding available?

Private Health Insurance: Your private health insurance may fund a certain number of sessions with a registered psychologist. Please contact your insurer to find out more.

Will my sessions be confidential?

Everything you share will remain confidential. The only limitations to confidentiality is if you disclose any information that is perceived is an imminent risk or threat to the safety of you or another person(s). This is not a common occurrence, and whenever possible, I share my concerns with you before notifying a third party.

What if I start and don’t want to continue sessions?

You can choose to end sessions whenever you like, there is no obligation to continue with sessions. I will always open space to check in and discuss fit. I make an ongoing effort to cater to your needs, discuss alternative services, and offer referrals.

What if I’m not sure about seeing you?
