ABOUT Taylor

Taylor’s a registered psychologist in Wānaka, working with people in person and online across Aotearoa.

She supports people through trauma, anxiety, mood challenges, health issues, stress, grief, and the tougher chapters of life, as well as those wanting to sharpen their mindset, confidence, and performance.

Her background spans both clinical mental health and sport psychology.

Before becoming a psychologist, Taylor spent eight years on the New Zealand Alpine Ski Team, competing internationally. Life in high-pressure environments shaped the grit and empathy she brings to her mahi (work) today, whether she’s helping someone process trauma, or guiding an athlete through confidence dips, injury, burnout, or big transitions.

Taylor works with adults from all walks of life, blending science-backed approaches like ACT, EMDR, IFS, and somatic modalities to match each person’s unique wiring. Her style is grounded, collaborative, and practical - focused on making real change, both in-session and out in the world.

She’s not just about managing symptoms; she’s about getting to the root of what drives them. We live in a world quick to patch over problems, but lasting change comes from understanding the why and unlearning the old patterns that keep people stuck. Her work helps clients understand, and more importantly, process what’s been holding them back, so they can live with more freedom, presence, and purpose.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll find her in the mountains, on a surfboard, or riding her bike, and spending time with good humans.

Taylor sees clients Monday to Thursday and currently has availability within the next two weeks.
